How to Make A Delicious Chole bhature !!
Hello everyone !!! Everybody as a Indian likes Chole Bhature !! There will be Noone who does not like this delicious and Yummy Dish Right!
Here in this blog I am Going to show you the dish which stole the Millions of Indians Heart and Tongue. Let us get into the recipe !
Ingredients: For Chole (Chickpea Curry):
2 cups chickpeas, soaked overnight
1 large onion, chopped
2 large tomatoes, pureed
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
Oil for deep-frying
Chole: Pressure cook the chickpeas with enough water for 4-5 whistles or until soft. Drain and set aside.
2. In a pan, heat oil and saute the onions until golden brown. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
3. Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
4. Add the turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili, and garam masala powders, and salt. Mix well.
5. Add the cooked chickpeas and enough water to form a thick sauce. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Knead into a soft, sticky dough using water as needed. Cover and set aside for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into lemon-sized balls. Roll out into thick rounds using dry flour.
Heat oil in a deep pan for deep-frying. Fry the bhature on both sides until golden brown and puffed up.
Serve the hot chole with the bhature. Enjoy!
